Matt, the current driver who drives for Hastings Freight has clocked up their 1,000th collection from Mintdale Engineering, we decided to thank him (as he’s a very nice man) by arranging an Afternoon Tea hamper including good old ‘Yorkshire Tea’ as tea is his favourite thing! Thank you to Matt and Hastings Freight for their continued relaible and friendly service.

Well Done Ben1/7/2022 For a week in June a young man called Ben Saint was with us on work placement from Outwood Academy Newbold in Chesterfield, he is a year 12 student studying for A levels with a view to going into engineering in the future.
Ben shadowed our employees on the shop floor and carried out tasks to keep him busy, our Andy (of Mintdale Rocks fame) took Ben under his wing making sure he was looked after. Ben started off a little shy but was eager to learn and everytime we saw him he had a big smile on his face, he certainly came out of his shell, being in the real world of work seemed to benefit him. He later thanked us for making him feel so welcome. We were impressed with his abilities, the way he applied himself, and it was a delight to have him here at Mintdale. Well done Ben! |
